These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Sina Connect service, a guidance service allowing users to search for information and contact details of doctors and pharmacies in Tunisia, accessible via Messenger, the sinaconnect.tn website, and, on an experimental basis, via third-party AI assistants (for example ChatGPT) connected through the MCP (Model Context Protocol) protocol.
The service is provided free of charge.
Using the service implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Use. If the user does not accept these terms, they must stop using the service.
Sina Connect is a medical guidance and information tool, covering both doctors and pharmacies (including open, on-duty and night pharmacies). The service:
The information provided is strictly for guidance and does not constitute personalised medical advice.
The service is not intended to handle medical emergency situations. In an emergency, the user must immediately contact the relevant emergency services or a healthcare professional.
The service is accessible through several channels: Messenger (a platform operated by Meta Platforms), the sinaconnect.tn website, and, on an experimental basis, third-party AI assistants connected through the MCP protocol. Sina Connect is an independent service and is not affiliated with Meta Platforms nor with the publishers of these third-party AI assistants.
The service is reserved for adults. Minors may access the service only under the supervision and responsibility of a parent or legal guardian.
Sina Connect reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service, or any of its access channels, at any time without notice.
On an experimental basis, Sina Connect provides an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server allowing third-party AI assistants (for example ChatGPT) to query the directory of doctors and pharmacies in order to guide their own users.
The user agrees to:
Sina Connect makes reasonable efforts to provide reliable and up-to-date information about healthcare professionals. However:
Sina Connect shall not be held liable for decisions made on the basis of the information provided, the unavailability of healthcare professionals, or any indirect damage related to the use of the service.
Use of the service involves the processing of personal data. This processing is governed by the Privacy Policy of Sina Connect, available separately.
When the service is used via a third-party AI assistant connected through the MCP protocol, that assistant applies its own data processing, governed by its own privacy policy. Sina Connect only controls the data strictly transmitted via the MCP call (for example: city, specialty searched, practitioner name) and has no access to any other exchanges between the user and that third-party assistant.
The content, structure and elements of the Sina Connect service are protected by intellectual property rights. Any unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.
Sina Connect is provided "as is". No guarantee is given regarding:
Sina Connect reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. The service may evolve, particularly in terms of features or business model. Any significant changes will be communicated to users.
These Terms of Use are governed by Tunisian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Tunis.
