Sina Connect is a digital service based in Tunisia, accessible via Messenger, the sinaconnect.tn website, and, on an experimental basis, via third-party AI assistants (for example ChatGPT) connected through the MCP protocol. It is a guidance tool and does not constitute medical advice or diagnosis.

When used via Messenger, the service operates via the Meta Platforms platform, subject to its own terms of use. Sina Connect is an independent service and is not affiliated with Meta Platforms nor with the publishers of these third-party AI assistants.

This privacy policy is established in accordance with Tunisian Law No. 2004-63 on the protection of personal data and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In the context of using the service, we may collect only the data necessary for it to function:

• Messenger identifier (first name, last name, user ID), when the service is used via Messenger
• Messages exchanged with the chatbot
• Information provided voluntarily (city, specialty, symptoms)
• Technical data (timestamps, logs)
• When the service is used via a third-party AI assistant connected through the MCP protocol: only the search parameters transmitted by that assistant (city, specialty searched, practitioner name searched). No session identifier or conversation history is transmitted to or retained by Sina Connect in this case.

Some information (in particular symptoms) may be considered health-related data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Such data is processed with particular care and solely within the scope of the service's purpose.

Data is collected and used exclusively to:

• suggest doctors or pharmacies suited to the user's request
• facilitate contact or medical guidance
• improve the quality and relevance of the service
• ensure the proper technical functioning of the service, including its integrations with third-party AI assistants

Processing is based on:

• the user's consent, expressed by using the service, regardless of the channel (Messenger, website, third-party AI assistant)
• the legitimate interest of Sina Connect in ensuring the proper functioning and improvement of the service

Data is retained for a maximum of 30 days, then deleted or anonymised, regardless of the access channel used.

No data is retained permanently for medical or commercial purposes.

Data is neither sold nor used for advertising purposes. It may be accessible only to:

• the Messenger platform operated by Meta Platforms, when the service is used through that channel
• technical service providers acting strictly for hosting, maintenance or operation of the service

These third parties are subject to confidentiality obligations.

When the service is used via a third-party AI assistant connected through the MCP protocol, Sina Connect does not share data with that third party: rather, the assistant initiates the request to Sina Connect. That assistant applies its own data processing, governed by its own privacy policy, outside Sina Connect's control.

As the service notably uses the Messenger platform, some data may pass through servers located outside Tunisia, in particular via Meta Platforms.

We ensure that these transfers are governed by appropriate contractual safeguards to ensure that your data benefits from an equivalent level of protection.

Sina Connect implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or modification.

In accordance with applicable regulations, you have the following rights:

• right of access to your data
• right of rectification
• right to erasure
• right to object
• right to restriction of processing
• right to data portability

You may request the deletion of your personal data at any time. This action results in the permanent erasure of your interaction history and preferences on Sina Connect. To do so, contact our support at: [email protected].

This policy may be modified to reflect changes in the service or legal obligations.
